Parents Beware: Signs and Symptoms of Playing Favorites

We, as parents, have our feelings. We can hide part of it, but it’ll not be easy. We must be extraordinarily self-aware and aware of the decisions we make and the way we treat our children. Parents may be unaware that they are favoring their children at home. It could be anything as simple as always laughing at one child’s jokes or always attending one child’s school activities or games.

While some experts believe that a little healthy competition is beneficial, too much can cause a rift between siblings that can last a lifetime. According to research, if a youngster feels excluded, they will speak up, and it is critical not to dismiss their worries. There’s an art to parenting, and competent parents will recognize when they’ve found it.
